We do not use biocides

Biocides such as zinc pyrithione or silver ions are often found in period underwear, as they are intended to protect against pathogenic germs, for example. What very few people know is that the use of biocides can lead to allergic reactions, reduce fertility, pollute the environment and promote the development of resistance. You can wash Taynies at 60 °C

You can wash our period underwear at 30 - 40 °C, max. 60 °C. A wash cycle at 60 °C does not affect the function of the briefs. You can find out more on our Blog and in our FAQ “ How can I wash Taynies”.
